Taurima te Paa Harakeke Maama & Pepi
Taurima te Paa Harakeke is a service for hapu maamaa and whanau to receive support from a trained coordinator during their pregnancy with education, access to maternity services and hapu maamaa programs.
CRITERIA OF ELIGIBILITY
- Open to all ethnicities to enrol if need is identified
- Pregnant people living across the locality
- Parents or Maatua of new babies (including
adoptive parents) and tamariki up to age 5 years - Whaanau of pregnant people and pepi and tamariki
under 5 years - Accepted Referrals:
- Self-referral
- Whaanau referral
- Community Lead Maternity Carer
- Other LMC
- Other community provider
SERVICES
The service will include care coordination over the entire 2000 days, maternity, and parenting support, and in-depth whanau care planning and navigation.
