Korina Burne-Vaughn

Board of Trustees Chair

Corina brings vast first-hand knowledge and experience of the healthcare sector to her role as the board chair for Raukura.  

Korina has been involved in midwifery for 24 years and before that was a practice nurse for Raukura Hauora working at Waahi Pa Marae. 

She is passionate about improving health equity and positive outcomes for Maaori. 

Korina lives in Huntly and is married with 4 children. When she isn't balancing work and whaanau, Korina enjoys outdoor activities, especially hiking.
