Elaine Preston

Elaine brings a wealth of stakeholder management, tikanga Maaori, strategic, financial and organisational skills to the board of Raukura Hauora o Tainui. 

Her previous experience in the Maaori health sector, including at an operational level for Raukura Hauora o Tainui in both Waikato and Taamaki, together with her experience as a governor make her uniquely suited to our board and her role as a trustee.  She has a first-hand knowledge of the health needs of Maaori, a deep understanding of cultural values, practices and policies and exceptional relationship-building skills. 

Elaine is driven by her commitment to Kiingitanga and the wellbeing of all people. She is a conceptual and highly strategic thinker and a voice of and for the people. 

She is currently employed at Tainui Group Holdings in the stakeholder relations role.
