Arahi Whanaau Dual Diagnosis
Arahi Whanau Dual Diagnosis is a community-based, recovery-focused service that offers a comprehensive approach to assessment, treatment, therapy, and support for individuals facing challenges related to both their mental health and addictions (alcohol or other drugs).
Our non-clinical service is dedicated to supporting those dealing with the impact of mental illness and the effects of excessive alcohol and other drug use. We provide advocacy for tangata (people), assistance with transport, and regular face-to-face contact to ensure ongoing support and connection.
CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY
- Ages 17 years and over
- A resident of Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland)
- Currently receiving clinical treatment in South Auckland for:
Mental Health or Alcohol other drugs service - Must complete a comprehensive alcohol and drug assessment with a dual diagnosis worker
- Any ethnicity
- Type of referrals accepted:
- Community alcohol and drug service
- Community mental health service
